New Horizon always needs volunteers to help facilitate approximately 5,000 people on site each day. You can volunteer online for any of the areas below (if aged 17 or over):

Site

  • Assist with the erection of the Pavilion
  • Help with preparing the tented village during the week prior to the event (12th – 17th July)
  • Join the tent-sitting team during the week to ensure security of equipment etc

Stewarding

  • Assisting and organizing the seating of those attending
  • Directing people at venue entrances and exits
  • Assisting with car parking
  • Carrying, lifting and moving equipment as directed
  • Reporting to site management regarding health & safety issues

Creche

  • Join the team which looks after babies and pre-school children during the morning programme (9.30am – 1.00pm)
  • Volunteers must register as soon as possible in order that appropriate checks can be carried out

Support

  • Selling handbooks, refreshments, CDs
  • Staffing the Information Desks
  • General administrative support for the event

You can also volunteer for the Scripture Union or Livewire teams. Online applications are not possible through this site but if you are interested in volunteering in either of these areas read the information below!

Scripture Union Team

Join the team which organizes the programme for children from P1 to Year 10. Choose the age group that suits you – P1 to P4, P5 to Y8 or Y9 to Y10.

Livewire Team

Livewire forms an integral part of the New Horizon programme, catering for 15 - 18 years olds from 10am to 1pm each weekday morning. Livewire has developed over the years to accommodate 350+ teenagers coming together to grow in their faith and to challenge how they live their Christian lives.
