Parking

Morning Parking

Those attending New Horizon may park on the university campus but should use only the car parks designated for New Horizon use. Standard University parking charges will apply. On entering the campus, at the barrier you will be given a New Horizon Identification Disc which must be displayed on the windscreen of your car. Stewards will direct to the car parks, clearly signed, designated for New Horizon use. A shuttle bus service will operate between these car parks and the Pavilion. Under no circumstances should car parks other than these be used. Contravention of these relaxed parking restrictions could damage the goodwill shown to us by the university.

Evening Parking

All campus car parks are available in the evenings, free of charge between the hours of 6.00p.m. and 12.00 midnight. Note however that if you arrive before 6.00p.m. or leave the campus after 12.00 midnight, you will be charged for the whole time your car was in the car park. Stewards will direct traffic to appropriate car parks. A shuttle bus service will operate between car parks and the Pavilion.

Disabled Parking

The car park next to the New Horizon Pavilion is available for Disabled Badge Holders at £2 per car per morning. There is no evening charge. Please note that to gain access to the Disabled Car Park, you must register with New Horizon through the Office in advance and display both a New Horizon Pass and your Blue Disabled Badge. The University has advised us that vehicles in non-designated car parking spaces or parked on roads within the campus, will be clamped. Our Car Park Stewards carry out a very difficult task and work in all weather conditions. Please give them every encouragement, and be appreciative of their helpfulness.
